Description
The O.S Speed T1203 Touring Engine has been developed as one of the strongest small black engines available. Compared to the previous "T1202," this model has improved fuel consumption and more torque in the medium to low speed range, even on high grip surfaces. A thicker cylinder flange transfers heat effectively to the low CG cooling head for better heat transfer and reduction. The silicon filled crankshaft has been updated to optimize the rotational mass and follows the O.S. SPEED tradition with DLC coating to reduce friction, dual tungsten slugged counter-balance and a ceramic rear bearing to reduce vibration and increase RPM. The cylinder liner and piston have been hand matched for an improved fit and better seal. A 12F slide valve carburetor with shorter restrictor is included for quicker bottom to top throttle response.
